Angst Week: Schedule

Angst Week will be happening on the second week of September, which will be on a Sunday.

15th September is the date.

Hopefully you will have decided on what to do by then.

As it falls on a Sunday, hopefully that means you guys will have the time to post up your starters and get started with the RP-ing.

Considering that angst doesn’t happen out of random, I will mention this again.

If you decide to make this into a canon thing for your character, you will need to do a prep RP to build up the relationship (unless the relationship is already there).

So if you can get that thread going ASAP and have everything prepared before the start of Angst Week, that would be the best situation.

Alright, with the date announced, you guys are free to start talking and preparing for it.

ANGST WEEK: quick FAQ

It seems like a few people are questioning what should be happening during Angst Week. I’ll try to break it down so everybody can understand.

  • During Angst Week, the point is to just drown yourself in sorrow. So the idea is to do nothing but angst-based RPs the entire week.
  • You can continue on with your other RPs if you want to, or if they’re especially important for character development or the like. But it is recommended that you don’t so the entire event has a better and stronger impact.

If, for example, you want to break canon ties and turn your character into serial killers, then you are allowed to do so.

If you wish to use this chance for character development, then you can do that too.

We’re not restricting what kind of RP you want to do with your partner. You can use this chance to do that Alternate Universe angst-based RP you’ve always wanted to do with your RP partner. Break canon ties and create a separate universe where your character is someone they’re not in the canon universe.

Or you can use this chance to stay in the canon universe and build up drama. If you choose to stay in the canon universe, then obviously there will be lasting effects later when the RP is finished, so keep that in mind.
