The switch board stayed active tonight as calls from all over the metropolitan area poured in to report fire-related emergencies. Firefighters have been working tirelessly for the past four hours in an attempt to keep up with the demand, and while they’re having success in extinguishing the flames, the same cannot be said for determining the cause.

Police and private investigators have been called in to examine the scenes on suspect of arson, but there appears to be no evidence indicative of what actually started the fires.

Aside from time/style, the fires appear to be unrelated in terms of patterns recognised by investigators, but the police are continuing their search.

There has been only one victim from each case. An office worker who was inside the building when the fire happened, a detective who was caught in the explosion of a nearby phone booth, and a truck driver whose engine seemingly exploded out of nowhere. Police has inferred that these are not accidents as the timing of the explosions seems too perfect to be considered an accident.

Despite the conclusion the police has come up with, the police has been left baffled as there has been no clues or evidence as to why the arson would target these three individuals.
