((With everyone posting depressing stories, I thought it would be fun to post a little drabble that I wrote a year or so ago for Cloverkite. It’s based on our fanfic, The Call of the Raven, in which Shinichi and Kaito are actually bipaternal twins and… well, it’s all explained in the fic (which isn’t posted anywhere sorries), but anyway… in this scenario, they’ve been close friends for a while now… Kaito’s been captured and Shinichi finally figures out where he is to save him but — unlike in the fanfic — is too late…))
