This is the sketchbook that I took to the con. During opening ceremony, I mentioned the project and told the fuzzies that I was going to fill it over the weekend and that they needed to give me species suggestions. They did. I started it on Friday night, it was auctioned it off on Sunday (at 70% finished), and was wrapped up on Monday. It sold for\u00a0\u00a3250, half of which went to the charity.<\/p>\n

The winning bidder helped me decide the final species and I drew his character on the first page. He seemed very happy, which made ME very happy, and all things were wonderful!<\/p>\n

These were really fun for me to do since I almost never do traditional media outside of conventions, and thus only do badges\/sketchbooks on commission. I alternated between plain graphite and graphite\/prismacolor marker and got to experiment with a lot of different styles and things. Sometimes I was able to get a reference for an animal, but most of the time I sort of just made up (so ignore the janky anatomy plz).\u00a0<\/p>\n
