OKAY, WE NEED TO REBLOG THE FUCK OUT OF THIS. EVEN IF YOU\u2019RE NOT AN ANIMAL PERSON, YOUR FOLLOWERS NEED TO SEE THIS. ESPECIALLY DURING THE HEIGHT OF VACATION SEASON. DO NOT SUPPORT SEA PARKS WITH CAPTIVE WHALES<\/strong>. Whales aren’t evil. They’re not. They really are not. But they are large, intelligent animals. They are very, very, very intelligent. They do not belong in cages and trained for human amusement. They are way too smart for that. And they are big. Like. Really big. And. Uhm.<\/p>\n

you wanna know why I am afraid of whales (I will eventually do a comic about this)<\/p>\n

it is because they are another species that is probably just as intelligent as we are, if not more so, and they are gigantic and we are pretty insignificant and we have been killing them and bothering them for a very long time and if they wanted to hurt us they totally could and it would be very, very hard to stop them<\/p>\n

Fortunately, despite being the largest carnivores ever, they seem to be pretty chill (probably because they are so intelligent and probably possess a lot of empathy)<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s not so much fear as it is respect. Terrified with respect. Wanting to stay very far out of their way.\u00a0<\/p>\n

did you guys know that whales started attacking whaling ships when that kinda stuff was going on? like, the only time they were violent.. fighting back.. because.. they totally could… and had a right to<\/p>\n
